About The Owner

Derrick Forston, a Haines City, Florida native, is the founder and owner of Second Chance Housing, LLC. Second Chance Housing is a housing program that creates pathways out of homelessness by providing a clean and safe living environment for homeless adults.

With over a decade of working experience in mental health and substance abuse clients, his passion goes beyond providing housing to the homeless; he also believes in enriching the lives of others through knowledge and opportunities. As a result, he serves as a mentor and expert consultant sharing his extensive expertise with business owners, social service agencies and other community organizations on how to start and operate their own Independent Living Facility™ through Forston Consultants, LLC.
